Mary Wells Memorial

Mary Wells was a Philadelphia Quaker who came with her husband, Benjamin Winter Morris to Tioga County, Pennsylvania. The Mary Wells Memorial was designed from a variety of historical documentation. Mary’s dress was based upon original prints of Philadelphia Quaker dress at the time. Once the design was approved by the client, it was sculpted and cast into bronze.
