ART Design Group was approached by the Lakeland Police Department to create a solemn memorial honoring their fallen hero officers. This meaningful project began with a visit to the police department in Lakeland, Florida, where we were shown a significant plot of land in need of commemoration.
Captain Hans Lehman expressed a vision for a bronze cast Honor Guard in full dress, emphasizing chiseled facial features to capture the essence of honor and dedication. Detail was of importance to Captain Lehman, notice the sculpted hyperrealism of the hat, patches, badge and other accessories.
ART Design Group meticulously crafted a site-specific concept plan drawing for the memorial, aiming to not only honor fallen officers but also to provide solace and support to the Lakeland Police Department and their families.
Over the course of two years, our team dedicated themselves to the project, which encompassed intricate bronze casting, meticulously designed landscaping, and precise installation. Every step of the way, we ensured that the memorial met the highest standards of craftsmanship and respect.
Today, the Lakeland Fallen Hero Memorial stands proudly as a testament to the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of the Lakeland Police Department and their fallen heroes. It serves as a place of solemn remembrance and gratitude, honoring those who gave their lives in service to their community.
